Can I install the Simple Pump by myself?
Installing the Simple Pump Well Hand Pump is straightforward and often done by customers themselves. For wells deeper than 135 feet, professional installation is recommended due to the weight of the equipment. If the submersible pipe exits through the well cap, a professional may be needed to swap the well cap. Always have at least one person assist you during installation. Can the Simple Pump develop enough pressure to fill my pressure tank?
Yes, the Simple Pump is designed to develop sufficient pressure to fill a residential pressure tank up to 45 psi with moderate effort. Its precise manufacturing ensures it can effectively pump into a pressure tank in most wells.

I installed the Simple Pump (fortunately) about 8 months ago and have not tried it out yet. When the storm passed, I made a make shift hose (female swivels on both ends) and back fed to our home.
Our SP gets water from 240’. Pumping was not easy but doable. We are so thankful that we have water inside our home.
Showers are cold but (I’ve taken cold showers for 7 years so no big deal. My family, not so much) showering inside, priceless.
