The simple pump is High quality, with easy installation. The water produced by pumping is crystal clear clean and refreshing, of course this is the quality of my well water but the simple pump adds no flavour or contamination, it maintains the fidelity of my well water to a tee. While the look is a bit utilitarian it is a very good looking piece of equipment. Love it.

We have a flowing underground spring which feeds a natural underground cistern. It's 70' deep and has good water. Someone drilled a 6" well down to the cistern but then at some point covered it with a concrete slab. I opened it up and tested the water and its good water. I dropped an electric submersible pump into it about 5 years ago and have enjoyed the water since. But with the talk of power grid attacks I decided I wanted access to this great water source apart from electricity. I checked my options for a hand pump that was good quality and would bring up the water from 70'. The obvious choice was Simple Pump! I bought it, installed it myself with no previous experience with hand pumps. I watched the installation video about 3 times and had at it. It really wasn't hard to install it with no help and I'm 71 years old! I took my time and still had it pumping in about 4 hours. I'm very pleased with my Simple Pump, and if I loose power for any reason I'll still have my own great source of water. And to me, knowing that is worth the money, time, and effort!

Great hand pump! Simple pump was great to work with, very communicative and got the right pump for my application which wasn’t a typical application. Everything was machined perfectly and packaged well. The pump works fantastic! I feed all of my pets and chickens from the well to keep it circulated, and the simple pump makes it a quick and easy chore. My chicken waterer is 6.5 gallons and it only takes a couple minutes of pumping to fill. I use a 100’ water hose to reach all of the various places and it pumps it no problem! Thank you simple pump for this well crafted hand pump!

installation was easy, customer service was great, works like it should.the only con i see is that the pump handle assembly doesnt feel as if it would last for years of use, which they do offer a lifetime warrenty so that helps. over all i would recommend it

Pitless Adapter setup, pump works well ( no pun intended). Installation instructions needed some clarification from Simple Pump directly. Once confirmed, the install went well. Elected to have a well installer assist ($600), which I would highly recommend as they have the rig for lowering the pump, fittings, and knowledge about well systems. Used $15 1 3/4" tungsten hole saw, no problems. Pump is well built and good material selection. Paid the extra $400 to expedite as Northern WI changes drastically by mid to late November.

I’m 69 years old and installed the Simple Pump myself, I watched YouTube videos and read the installation instructions that came with all the parts. All parts are of the highest quality. The depth of drop pipe was 99 feet I did use a chain fall for dropping the last two drop pipes and pump tube head which made the tube head height adjustment very easy. If you have a second person you won’t need a chain fall. I now have cold clean water from my existing 6”well thanks to Simple Pump, if I lose electrical power because of a storm or power grid failure I have drinkable water thanks to Simple Pump. I run a business that promotes self-sufficiency. Water is the #1 concern and of this I am certain; your submersible pump will fail. A hand operated pump is a necessity. Those that have a Simple Pump in their well (usually parallel with a submersible pump) have peace of mind today and an unshakable resilience tomorrow.
